AUREA E. ROCA

      Linear Equations. Parabola. X-axis. Quadratic Functions.
   These are some of the things Mrs. Roca teaches us inside the classroom. But enough of the mind-boggling mathematical equations, let’s get to know more of her, personally!
     Born July 19, 1968, Aurea E. Roca lived and grew up at Pagbilao, Quezon. She graduated as 3rd Honor from Pagbilao Central Elementary School in 1982. As for her high school education, she graduated from Pagbilao Academy in 1986 also as 3rd Honor. Lastly, she finished her education with flying colors when she graduated Cum Laude at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in 1990.
    On a personal note, she likes reading, writing and watching talkshows. “Helping students develop their potentials” is what she loves most about teaching. When asked what she hates most about teaching, she proudly answered, “None, because teaching is a noble profession.” If she is not a teacher now, she would be “a government employee” for the reason that she “wants to help the country’s government to reach out to people, to change their lives.”
     Now, she is currently living at Paliparan 3, Dasmarinas City with her loving husband, Reynaldo P. Roca who is a professor at PHILSCA, Pasay City. Besides being a caring wife, she is also a mother of two, namely Carl Janrey and Mary Hyaseer Grace.

RONALDRAN ABAYAN

    Born March 8, 1981; at Abuyog, Leyte. His religion is stated as Iglesia ni Cristo.

    He graduated high school in Dasmarinas National High School – main (DNHS-MAIN), and he graduated college in NCST (batch 2002-2003) and EAC- CAVITE (batch 2005-2006) with a course Electronics & Communication Technology / BS Secondary Education major in History.

   We asked him about aside from being a CNHS teacher, what is your life behind?

Oldest brother of my two (2) sisters / two (2) brothers, a good citizen of my community / country, and Propagating my religious beliefs.

MA. KARLA DANICA H. CRUZ

   Born in Manila, October 24 1989.

  She graduated elementary in Francisco E. Barzaga Memorial School (FEB), Graduated high school in our beloved school Congessional National High School (CNHS); and graduated college in Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) with a course Bachelor Of Secondary Education major in Social Studies.

   We asked her if she is not a teacher, what is she now? “Maybe a Policewoman” she answered.

ELENOR R. DOMINO

   Born on February 1, 1981, her mother was already dead and her father is Efren Romorosa.

   She graduated elementary in Bibincahan Elementary School (Bicol Region) 1987-1993. Graduated high school at  Sorsogon National High School 1993-1997; and graduated college at Sorsogon State College 2001-2004

   We asked her if she is not a teacher, what is she now? “Maybe a nurse… to be a nurse was my first dream, but due to financial constraints I was not able to fulfill it.” She answered.

ADELMA TOPACIO

    Born on January 22, 1968 and married to Mr. Topacio, they were blessed with three (3) children.

   She took Bachelor of Science in Physics. Before CNHS, she taught at the St. Joseph Minor Seminary (1989-1990); Immaculate Concepcion Minor Seminary (1990-1991); Sisters of Mary School (1992-1998); and Bacoor National High school, Molino Annex (1998-2009).

    We asked her if why she is capable to be the best teacher in our school. “The question is hard huh! But I’m just giving my very best because it’s my job and it affiliates me being as a teacher.” she uttered.

LAILA C. DEL MUNDO

Ms. Laila C. Del Mundo  is 23 year old lady , was born on January 21 , 1988  . Lived at 274 Halang Amadeo , Cavite . She studied at Halang Banay-Banay Elementary School, when she was in high school, she graduated at Amadeo National High School . She studied at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas , Cavite  .

Something about her, when she was a teen, she had a crush his name was Mr. Dempcie dela Cruz .  For her, her first love is her one and only mother.

We asked her several questions, first is her achievement in her life, she answered “To be a teacher is an achievement, maybe when I see my students excel in their fields. “ We asked her the second question about her dreams “To be happy always “she quoted.

The third question we asked her is all about why she pursue her teaching career, She answered,  “  I chose this profession because I want to share my knowledge to others , when  you share your knowledge to others in some little ways it’s a good feeling .”

                The last question is if she is the president, what she will do to make our country better?  She answered “ heheh ..  Maybe to convince my countrymen to help each other to make everything better than what they have now … and to all have their dreams and become a model for everyone. 

JOEL D. SALAZAR

In early times, you are considered as hero if you did things that prove your bravery and passion for being distinguished and honored by millions of people. But as time goes by, we tend to minimize our expectations for them. We considered  a person who became an inspiration for the people around him. They were compassionate and remarkably marvelous mortals of all time, several heroes were living today.

                One of our teachers and considered as a hero in Congressional National High School and the adviser of IV- Amorsolo (S.Y 2011 -2012), Mr. Joel D. Salazar, made it this far to be one of the respected and honored teachers in our school. He was born on November 26, with an unknown year. Very mysterious right? Well, it reflects his personality. Secret lover but tried things to express his self in his own ways. He graduated in the Philippine Normal University which was known for being one of the best educators for aspiring teachers. He lived at Imus, Cavite which was a very historical place .

                I knew his funny side when he even told us that he maybe a dancer if he didn’t chose to be a teacher , this joke he entered in our conversation proves that he is just strict in the class , but was really a very cheerful teacher when outside . His favorite sport is bowling which is definitely an exciting and enjoying game. As you can see, there were only few information’s of him was revealed. But this little things, reflected a lot of his characteristics. And what is interesting  , he told us the thing that was never really known by the public . And that was , he is a very religious person after all the strictness he showed.

                I admit that this dedicated teacher is really strict in front of the class . But face your fears and try to know him better , you may know the reasons for every smile he shows . And with this , you might unexpectedly say that My Teacher is My Hero , which showed things to inspire us  and be unique in our own little way . “Do I make myself clear? “ (favorite sentence of Mr. Salazar that marks the end of his discussion )

MIKKO JADE ALCANTARA

Born on September 10, 1985, a true-blue Dasmarineño , in the name of Mikko Jade D. Alcantara, is a professional English teacher at the Congressional National High School, from where he also graduated.

We asked him about his principles in life, and he answered “Live in peace, die with honor”. Because of his answer, that sounds like there’s a hero inside him, we also asked him what is the meaning of hero for him, and he answered that, hero is a shoulder to lean on.

If Sir Alcantara is not a teacher, he wanted to be a biologist or a veterinarian or a scientist.

MARVIN MELENDRES

Marvin Alkuino Melenderes Rivera Y Cal or simply known by his student as Mr. Melendres was born in Delos Santos Hospital on May 18, 1991. He is currently teaching at Congressional National High School in field of Values Education. He graduated high school at Dasmariñas National High School-Main. Continuing his journey, he entered college at the Philippine Normal University taking BS Psychology.

Aside from being a teacher, he has also special talents that are known only by the people close to him. Melendres has a bit talent in painting, he also writes essays, poetry and others. And the most unexpected is that he knows how to dance but he only does this for a reason and it’s his hidden talent.

Mr. Melendres is a quiet, timid and not that sociable person. He rather does things on his own or maybe at least with two to three persons that he’s close with.

MARK JAMES VIÑEGAS

Mark James Marasigan Viñegas is one of the beast history teachers teaching in Congressional National High School. Son of Margarita Ona Marasigan and Wilfredo Gayo Vinñegas. Born on February 3, 1988. He lives at Block 4 Lot 23 Sampaguita St., Via Verde Village, San Agustin II.

He studied his elementary at Ramona S. Tirona Memorial School and graduated in year 2000. His high school at Congressional National High School graduated in year 2004. While his college in De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, graduated in year 2008. Studied Bachelor of Secondary Education major in History. Now, he is taking Master of Arts in Filipino at DLSU.

Aside from being a teacher, he is a literary editor or thesis editor. A part time faculty of Kagawaran ng Wika at Panitikan at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.

If he is not a teacher today, he would prefer to be a lawyer or a policeman.

For Mr. Viñegas, being a hero is “devoting thy self to serve the country and countrymen.”

CONRADO ROBLE

He is smart and courteous and an expert in the field of teaching . He is no other than Mr. Conrado C. Roble . One of the intelligent teacher in Congressional National High School . A MAPEH teacher , a trainer and a coach to the delegate students of different sports .
He was born on July 29 , 1967 in Davao City . He graduated in elementary at Balagtas Memorial School . He also finished his high school at Rizal Memorial Colleges . He took his vocational at Immaculate Conception College and graduated in college in PCU , PLM and National College Master in Physical Education .We asked him several question , he answered Yes , I can dance , model , involving in sports like playing tennis , basketball , involving a group of association as official of the game “ when we asked him a question about If he have a talent ? “ On the next question , we asked him about aside from being a teacher , do he have another job , he said , “ Yes . I have , such as couching , training program and act as a trainer in Sport event .The dedication and willingness to share his knowledge to the learners upon sports is for a lifetime . For him , his purpose in life is teaching . His principle in life is “For a life time teaching ” . The blazing define in his heart to teach the students could not be lower down because he loves to teach Sports . Mr. Conrado Roble is a teacher who enhance discipline and spiritual development to his student . He is a hero in a sense that teaching was not only his good quality but he can do many things that everybody didn’t know he can do . 

DARLENE S. INTERNO

The one on the right is the always lovely Ma'am Darlene

Amazing , Responsible , Patient that would be the best words to describe her . She is one of the most excellent teacher of our beloved school , Congressional National High School .

She was born on June 19 . 1983 and she is now 28 years old . She graduated elementary at Malagasang I Elementary School . She continued to studying at Imus National High School in Imus . And she finished college in TUP – Cavite with the course of BSIE – CoEd .For us , she is truly proficient in the field of teaching especially in Computer . She knows how to get the attention of the students . Programming is very hard to understand because it is full of logic, but with her very good explanations we learned it easily .Aside from being a teacher , she is also a lovable wife and a good mother of her only daughter .Even she is very stressed in doing her lesson plans and computing scores , she also have time to bond with her family .Other than teaching , she wants to be a chef . Unfortunately , she is not that good in cooking but she has skills in baking and she really like it . That’s why she wants to have an oven . She was planning to enroll at Culinary School in short courses . During her spare time she watches cooking shows such as Master Chef and DC Cupcakes . She also enjoys doing nail art , and she find it very creative .Mrs. Darlene Interno is very unique in every other ways . She is very creative and she can do many things , and if you find out with your own observations , she can be a teacher and a hero whom you would admire.

RYAN VILLANUEVA

            Mr. Ryan Villanueva graduated at Piela Elementary School, when he finished his studied when he was in high school at Bulihan National High School. And when he was in college, he studied at Cavite State University (Indang Campus) . When he was in schooling, he use what he have learned in school, for him to grow when the right time come. It will serve as his strength to be successful someday.

 We asked him about the question, “for him what is hero?” he answered, for me, being a hero  is  you have a care and concern for your fellowmen for the next generation .

We asked him again the next question why he chose MAPEH subject, he said , “ when I was in college there’s no Social Science Specialization in CavSU-Indang , that’s what I want . I don’t like Math, Biology, Chemistry, TLE which are offered that time aside PE, which is my second choice.

 Aside from being a teacher, he wants to have his own family and helping others – Public Service. 

ELISA FLAVIANO

            
        Mrs. Elisa C. Flaviano graduated in Aurora Province when she was in elementary and high school. Her special skills are playing bandurria /octavina during her childhood days. She is a member of rondalla during her schooling. She has been in teaching Filipino subject for 17 years.

            Aside from being a teacher, she faces all her responsibilities and obligations as a Christian. For her, all of us may encounter problems and struggles in our life, it is normal for all of us to have problems because it is a way to become much stronger, and we must remain standing in all challenges in our life.  

EVELYN SEGUNLA

A 29 year old teacher. Her passion in life is to choreograph a dance.

“Im afraid of lightning and balloons, because when I see lightning for me it’s the end of the world, then, when I see a balloons, I thought it might pop”, she answered, when we asked her about the things she is afraid of.

Greatest achievement of her life is when she finished her studies and when she became a teacher.

VERN JULIUS C. HIMOR

A 25 year old guy was born on April 30, 1986.

He was very happy when the family of him was completed and when he graduated in college and when he start working in Congressional National High School.

Aside from being a teacher, he teaches swimming. He likes to play computer games. One of his most precious things in his life is her girlfriend and his motor.

JENNIFER C. de ASIS

She was born on November 30, 1975. She loves to teach since childhood and it is her dream to be a teacher. She always remember when students come back and say “Thank you.”, learn something from what she taught to them,

She can sing. She likes to watch Science Fiction Movies.

JOEL BUIZA

Mr. Joel Buiza, a 34 year old guy, was born on June 14, 1977.

I have asked Mr. Buiza about the reason why he chose to become a teacher, “I want to share my knowledge and also green pasture.” He answered.

He also told me that “Saan nadapa doon bumangon”, is one of his best experiences. He is interested on playing sepak takraw, basketball and playing fire.

“Education is the number one solution for student success.” An advice from Mr. Joel Buiza.

IVY JOY D. PELAYO

Mrs. Ivy Joy Pelayo was born on September 15, 1978, a 33 year old teacher.

Special things to her is when they won in Sci Dama with Benjamin Fresnido and she win in then Teacher’s Category.

She is very happy when she got her first baby which is  a gift.

For her, the best batch of Recto is the batch of Mr. Ron Joshua Palmero because of their little quarrel about certain issues.

RINA V. JAVIER

“It’s been the profession of my family and I’m just continuing the path where most of my folks chose.” This is my reason to be a teacher, she quoted.

“I love being a teacher because it makes me feel younger, she said.

“To be an effective teacher, one must develop patience especially when encountering ill-mannered students.” An advice from Mrs. Javier.

JANE VILLANUEVA

“I chose to be a teacher because it’s my passion during my childhood. Every time my teacher is absent or busy, I always substitute them. “I like to teach my classmates and discuss the lesson in front.” She quoted, when we asked her about her reason to be a teacher.

We asked her, “Why she loved being a teacher.” She answered, “I love to teach because it makes me feel good every time I see my students excel.”

“Patience is secret of being here in this field and it is also the secret to stay long” an advice from Ms. Jane Villanueva.

MARIA THERESA CONSTANTINO

We asked her a reason about “why she liked to be a teacher”, she answered, “I have been a teacher because it is a profession of our family generation, and aside from this, I also wanted to be a teacher because it’s been my childhood passion.

“I love being a teacher because it makes me feel proud especially when I see them excel in their fields.” She said.

“Secret is just to love what you’re doing and everything follows.” An advice from Ms. Constantino.

SONIA NARVAEZ VARGAS

          Mrs. Sonia Narvaez Vargas was born on March 27, 1971. 40 years of age. She has two important things in her life, first God and her family

                “I want to see my entire loved one appreciate and to get closer with GOD.” Mrs. Vargas answered, when we asked her, what her principle in life is.

“My goal in life is for my children, to finish their study up to college and to have a good future.”  She answered, when we asked a question about her goal in life.

PATRICK BRIONES

         He was born in Cavite and he graduated in De La Salle University- Dasmariñas at the year of 2009. We asked him if he ever think that he will be at teacher someday. “No I really wanted to be an accountant; I was good in mathematics when I was a high school student that was my dream. I was actually forced by my mother to take education. 
         He has been teaching for about three years; one year in Private school and two years in Public school. The hardest part in his teaching is paper works like lesson planning, grades and etc. Aside from teaching, he wants to be a Call Center Agent. There’s no regret in his chosen career because he enjoys what his doing as a teacher. He realized that teaching is more than a career. It is more of a service to the people especially to the youth. His life outside the classroom is very challenging .

            For him , as a teacher the things that make him happy  is when his students learn something from him  , and he thinks that is the main goal of being a teacher .

            “My plan after 5 years is to finish my masters degree, with this, I will enhance my capacity as an educator .  My fulfillment as a teacher is to see my student’s success .The greatest goal of being a teacher is not only imparting knowledge to your student but at the same time to become a good person. “– quoted by Mr. Briones

MARIAN PENALES

      Mrs. Marian Penales – teacher of Physics is recognizable as one of the most beautiful teacher who teaches here at Congressional National High School.

     We can say that Mr. Penales – husband of Mrs.Penales is the luckiest man who captured the heart of our beloved teacher.

     We asked Mrs. Penales some questions that are not related to her profession – as a teacher.

Mostly, “I’m always forgot to put used clothes to its respective container” answered Mrs.Penales when we asked her about if she was a teacher m what mostly she were doing on her house as a wife .

“ It is not always I’m doing it , but often times , I’m doing since high school until now is taking FOOD TRIP !” confidently answered Mrs. Penales about the question : What is her hobbies that she mostly doing in her high school and college life ?

“All I can say is , I didn’t do any embarrassing moment life as a woman” uttered Mrs. Penales , when we asked again that as a girl , what is her most embarrassing moment or experience that you’ve encountered in her whole life .

“My husband – Mr. Jeffrey Penales didn’t cooked any of my favorite food , but so far , the most tastiest and the most delicious food that he cooked for me is corned beef and fried chicken “ , answered Mrs. Penales when we asked the question : Did Mr. Penales cooked your favorite food for you ? What is that food? How does it taste?

“The humorous thing that I did is that I portrayed the role of Sisa (Noli and El Fili ) in my high school and college . They told me that I’m the one who can do that role on that time “ , said Mrs. Penales when she answered the question that talk about if her humorous thing that she did in her life .

“I rather choose to be a dog (puppy), because they were so cute and I’m enjoying to cuddle them, “happily answered to the question if she were given a chance to reincarnate herself. And what kind of animal she want, why ? Does it make any sense in her surroundings.

RADY F. JAVA

      He studied at Balabag- Jibao-an in his elementary days at 1985; Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School at 1989; and West Visayas State University at 1996.

            He actually didn’t like to consider teaching as his first choice when he was in college. His 1^st choice is BS Nursing and his 2^nd choice is AB Political Science.

            We asked him if he can consider himself as the best teacher here in school and why, and why not. “Maybe when I started teaching at CNHS Cast June 15, 1998, we are just 8 teachers here and I think that I’m the best teacher (ha ha! ☺) “he answered.

MARIA DELILAH R. REGIS

           She was born in Quezon City. She graduated high school in Foundation College in Sta. Ana Manila. She also graduated College in National Teacher College in a course Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English. Her special talent is dancing.

            We asked her, aside from being a CNHS teacher, what is your life behind the scene. “I personally managed our house rental business in Sta. Ana, Manila and taking good care of my parents, and my favorite nephew Luke Donielle.
